The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (SPH) seeks outstanding candidates for two tenure-track positions at the assistant or associate professor level in the areas of statistical genetics/genomics and computational biology.
We seek candidates with strong backgrounds in biostatistics, statistical genetics and genomics, computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, computer science, or related fields, with the potential to become leaders in the development and application of statistical and computational methods for analysis of genetic and genomic data. Candidates should also be enthusiastic for teaching, training, and mentorship through the graduate program. Responsibilities will include methodological and collaborative research, teaching, and supervision of graduate students.
Candidates are required to have a doctorate or terminal degree in biostatistics, statistics, computational biology, computer science, or allied fields by the time the appointment begins.
