    Posted 09-21-2015 11:54

    Hello, all!

    How was your weekend? I hope it went well! It's cloudy here in the DC area, and *just* starting to feel like fall.

    This Monday, we have seven articles from Technometrics' Special Section on System Informatics for you, free, at this link:

    <http://amstat.tandfonline.com/toc/utch20/current>

    You can sign up for e-mail alerts when new articles and issues are posted by creating an account on ASA's journals portal at http://amstat.tandfonline.com/. You will need to create an account (separate from your ASA Member login information) by clicking on "Register."

    And remember that ASA Members have free online access to JASA, JBES, JCGS, TAS, SBR, and CHANCE. Just log on using your member number and password through www.amstat.org.

    Have a great week!

    Question!

    In the new online version of Technometrics from Taylor & Francis, while I can read the digital version online in full, there seems to be nothing associated with the "PDF" icon .... Meaning I cannot download a PDF copy.

    Is this intended?  Am I supposed to go someplace else to get a PDF copy?  Or is a "digital only copy" one that can only be read when connected to the ASA site?

    Thanks!

    Hello, Jan Galkowski!

    Thank you for posting your question! I just took a look at the Technometrics journal portal, and was able to download individual articles as PDFs. I recorded a very quick video showing the steps to take to download articles here. Let me know if this doesn't work for you:

    I'm looking into if it's possible to download full issues, as well.

    I log on to ASA Communities but it is not clear what I should do next to actually get to these publications. I explored a bit but gave up after no success. Not a great interface if this benefit is buried or hidden.

    Maybe it is just the "Monday morning" effect...

    Hello, Mark Bailey,

    The original post was from 2015, so the particular set of articles the link originally led to *is* buried slightly. To find the special section on system informatics from vol. 57, 2015, of Technometrics, follow this link: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/utch20/57/3

    If you scroll down past "Latest Articles," you'll find a full list of the special section's articles.
