Our growing research program requires a PhD biostatistician to work on a variety of clinical research projects. Studies involve comparative effectiveness, medical decision models, large data set analysis, meta-analysis, prediction models, clinical trials, and clinical epidemiology. Responsibilities include: consulting, collaboration, teaching, and methods research - primarily with investigators/faculty in the Dep't of Medicine.
Requires PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or equivalent. 3-5 years relevant experience. Experience working on and writing NIH grants. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good sense of humor.
Our group includes 10 statisticians and is based at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Manhasset, NY - the research component of the North Shore-LLJ Health System.
