  • 1.  Trouble accessing Journals

    I am wondering if I am the only one having access issues with PDF files of the Amstat journals. I was doing the following:

    1. Log in to Amstat.

    2. Go to members only area

    3. Click on my publications.

    4. Click on Journal of Amstat

    I get redirected to the T&F website where I can see the full text but not get the PDF. Clicking on the PDF gives me a page not found message.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    You're not the only one.  On Wednesday, I was reading JASA when I lost access in the afternoon.

    I also cannot access ASA journals as I have done before many times.  The website shows that I have 'Full Access',  I've paid my dues.  But all attempts to access more than the abstract result in a page served stating 'The page you've requested cannot be found' and provides no help for a solution.  Hopefully the ASA will address this quickly after people return from the holidays.  I've sent a request for help to Taylor and Francis as listed on the American Statistician's site.  Others should as well.

    I checked my own access and I've found that I have the same problem. I guess we should consult to ASA.

    Just got an e-mail from ASA saying the problem is fixed. I checked my links and things seem to be back to normal.
