The 7th Workshop on Biostatistics and Bioinformatics

Event dates: May 10-12, 2019

Event location: Georgia State University, Atlanta

The keynote speaker of our workshop is Dr. Samuel Kou, Professor of both Statistics and Biostatistics, the chair of Statistics Department at Harvard,  and the recipient of the COPSS President's  Award in 2012. There will be invited talks by distinguished researchers, and a poster session by young researchers and graduate students.   The short course “Phase II Clinical Development of New Drugs” will be offered as a part of the workshop program on the afternoon of Friday, May 10, 2019. The short course is a half-day (four hours) presentation taught by Dr. Naitee Ting.   For more information, please visit the website:   math.gsu.edu/yichuan/2019Workshop for details.  In order to encourage graduate students and young  researchers to conduct a cutting-edge research, we are currently organizing a poster session.  The workshop will be providing partial travel awards to selected conference participants.  Priority will be given to senior graduate students,  post-graduate, recent Ph.D's, junior faculty, and under-represented groups.​​​​​​​​​
