I would like to welcome all members registered through the ASA special interest group for Statistics in Business Schools Interest Group (SIBSIG). Our primary goal as stated in the charter under the 'about us' tab states that:
"The mission of the group is to improve the teaching and practice of statistics in business schools and in the business community. We aim to encourage interaction between business faculty and others involved in teaching statistics to business students, as well as interaction with professionals from industry and government, with publishers, and with software producers. The major means of fulfilling this mission are through conferences, mini-conferences and sessions at professional meetings. Such professional meetings will include, but are not limited to, the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM)."
To that end I would like to invite you to our annual business meeting at JSM17 in Baltimore on Tuesday August 1, 2017 beginning at 4pm in Room: H-Key Ballroom 2
