Exploring the ASA-sponsored blogging capability (001)

  
We in the SSPA are interested in using what ASA offers regarding social networking tools. We're using the message board and library, and this blog post is the first test of the blogging capability.

There doesn't seem to be a way to "test post" this thing - so if you're reading this - please do not panic! This is only a test ... :)

I'm going to throw in a link here as well, to test some of the formatting/style attributes of the post.

Thank you for testing this, Mike. I was able to find the blog in 3 clicks. The link to R code for dotplots worked fine, and the article was interesting. This is yet another benefit of SSPA and ASA membership. Perhaps we can add a one-line reminder in the SSPA newsletter encouraging members to visit the blog on a regular basis.

Thanks for testing this out, Mike. I agree with Steve and think this blog will help bring visibility to our section. I'm looking forward to using it more in the future.

This is good. Once the blog launch officially, it should generate more traffics and visibility to SSPA.
