On behalf of the New England Statistical Society (NESS https://nestat.org), I am happy to share with you the NESS NextGen scholarships for underrepresented minorities in statistics and data science.

Eligibility:
- Graduating high school senior or first/second year undergraduate student;
- Persons from the following racial/ethnic backgrounds: American Indian/Alaskan Native, Black/African American, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander;
- Will be enrolled in a U.S. college or university for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year;
- Shows a genuine interest in statistics and data science through coursework, extracurricular activities, and/or future goals.

Deadline: May 1, 2025
Amount: at least $1,000
