The Statistics in Epidemiology (SIE) Section welcomes our members, along with all ASA members and their families, to attend the SIE Awards Reception where the 2015 Nathan Mantel Lifetime Achievement Award and Young Investigator Awards will be presented.
The event will take place at the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 7PM to 8PM in the Sheraton Hotel, Room S-Ballard. It will be preceded by an open business meeting from 6:30PM to 7PM in the Sheraton Hotel, Room S-Ravenna.

The section is proud to present Professor Ron Brookmeyer (UCLA) with the 2015 Nathan Mantel Lifetime Achievement Award for his lifetime contributions at the intersection of statistical science and epidemiology.
2015 Young Investigator Award Winners
The section is also proud to present the 2015 Young Investigator Awards to Jeffrey Boatman (University of Minnesota), Amanda Koepke (Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center), Emily Mitchell (National Institute of Child Health and Human Development), Ai Ni (University of North Carolina), and Fei Wan (Group Health Research Institute).
