Volunteer for Careers Day
|
Do you work in a position that analyzes data? Or are you retired from such a position?
Are you interested in volunteering about 2 hours of your time on a Saturday to share your knowledge and experience with future statisticians and users of statistics?
We would love to hear from you! We have three opportunities for Careers Day volunteers:
- Exhibitors represent their current organization and talk to students about the types of positions within their organization that analyze data. They may also collect resumes for internships and/or entry-level openings.
- Informational Interviewers are like exhibitors, but instead of representing a particular organization, they talk about their career path more generally. This is a great fit for retired professionals and/or those who switch companies every few years!
- Mock Interviewers play the role of a hiring manager in a simulated job interview for an entry-level position.
If any of these positions speaks to you, please fill out the Contact Us form at the top of the page to let us know a little bit about your background and volunteer interests, and we will get back to your shortly.
