Dear ASA Community,
The ASA has joined an effort led by the American Physical Society "to develop bold, actionable recommendations that will help position the NSF to meet the evolving needs of the nation, its citizens, and science." The initiative is called NSF Forward (https://www.aps.org/initiatives/advocate-amplify/policy/nsf-forward) and some 20 other organization have joined the collaboration. The url will take you to a form where these two questions are asked:
- From your perspective, what does NSF do well that you would like to ensure is maintained?
- From your perspective, what should NSF stop doing, change or do differently, or start doing?
In addition to responding through the APS form, I'd also appreciate you sharing your responses with me to inform an ASA submission.
The deadline is September 14.
