This year's awardee, Erica L. Groshen will speak on The Future of Our Federal Statistics. Ms. Groshen is a former Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and brings great insight into how federal statistics are calculated, used, and could be improved.
Reliable statistics on prices, wages, jobs, and unemployment are foundational to informed decisions across society. This will be a timely conversation about the future of the public information we all rely on, along with an opportunity to connect with others across Chicago's analytical community.
