The Health Policy Statistics Section is accepting topic-contributed session proposals for the 2021 Joint Statistical Meetings to be held in Seattle from Aug 7 to August 12, 2021. A topic-contributed session is planned in advance, by one or more organizers, and includes speakers presenting on a shared common topic.
Topic-contributed sessions include papers, panels, and posters:
1. Topic-contributed paper sessions consist of five speakers, made up of at least three presenters and, at most, two discussants; each speaker has 20 minutes to present.
2. Topic-contributed panels consist of three to six members providing commentary or a point of view on the panel topic.
3. Topic-contributed poster sessions have 10–15 participants with posters addressing a common topic.
The deadline to submit proposals is December 10, 2020. A committee will review all proposals, and organizers will be notified of acceptance by January 6, 2021. Detailed instructions are posted on the JSM 2021 website at
