I have some reading and doing familiarity with Shewhart-style control charting, but a bit of Googling suggests that Bayesian approaches are making inroads in statistical process control, too. I've found several paywalled journal articles that promise insights into that work: "The State of Statistical Process Control as We Proceed into the 21st Century" (Stoumbos et al.), "Bayesian Statistical Process Control" (Marcellus), "A Bayesian Sequential Look at u-Control Charts" (Bayarri et al.--I've got that one), ...
Before I start blindly buying copies, I'm curious: does anyone here have suggestions of fruitful threads of modern-day SPC practice and/or research? I'm open to a wide range of options: free or paywalled articles, books, blogs, Web sites, etc.
Thanks,
Bill
