Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position at the University of California, Merced:
The School of Natural Sciences at the University of California, Merced (http://naturalsciences.ucmerced.edu) invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the areas of Statistics, Probability, and Stochastic Processes. The position will be in the Applied Mathematics Unit (http://appliedmath.ucmerced.edu) at UC Merced.
Special attention will be paid to applicants who participate in interdisciplinary research, applicants who will contribute to developing the statistics curriculum, and applicants who will contribute to one or more of the campus research initiatives in the natural sciences, engineering and/or social sciences.
Qualifications: Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field. We seek a candidate with post-doctoral experience in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
Deadline: October 31, 2016. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2016.
