Still time to give feedback to JSM presenters

At JSM, several sections are using the JSM app to collect data to determine their best contributed paper award.  If you have not done so already, please take a moment to evaluate presentations that you have attended.  You can do this either through the app or through a web based application that mirrors the app.  Routes to both approaches can be found by starting from Home.  Simple click on the link for "Download the JSM app!", which brings you to a landing page with links to the App Store, Google Play, and the web interface for the app.  Generally, eligible presentations for the various best contributed paper awards are individual talks given in either topic contributed or regular contributed sessions where the section in question is the primary sponsor.  Upon using the app to locate a session with eligible presenters (the filtering utility is helpful here, as is the "My Program" functionality), click on the title of a specific talk.  There is then a thumb icon labeled "surveys", where you can rate the presenter in terms of statistical contribution, organization of presentation, verbal delivery, visuals used, and overall presentation.  The surveys icon is not displayed for talks that are not eligible for any best paper competition.

The app will continue to collect data for a limited time after the close of the conference.  If you have not done so already, please evaluate your colleagues that gave presentations at your earliest convenience.

    Regards,

    Ted
