I am working with a number of variables obtained from the public-use site of NCBI. I have defined both independent and dependent variables and have designed a statistical model and algorithm to select new biomarkers of disease events from sets of existing biomarkers of disease events. Included are components for missing data on the independent variables (since these data do not have all the same genotypic data) and Markov chain Monte Carlo to simulate missingness.
I am analyzing this in SAS. What is challenging is to determine the most efficient code in SAS that will capture most, if not all, these procedures.
Any thoughts you have are appreciate.
