    Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor

    Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for appointment in the 2016 Spring semester and 2016-2017 academic year. This appointment will be non-tenure track. Duties and responsibilities include teaching five courses per academic year. These courses may be at either the graduate or undergraduate level, and multiple sections of the same course may be counted separately toward the teaching requirement if undergraduate service courses are taught.

    Position Qualifications: The successful applicant must have a doctorate in statistics or biostatistics. Previous experience in teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.

    Salary Range: Competitive.
