SAE 2022: Small Area Estimation, Surveys and Data Science

Starts:  May 23, 2022 09:00 (ET)
Ends:  May 27, 2022 17:00 (ET)

The University of Maryland, College Park will host the next international Small Area Estimation (SAE) annual conference during 23 –27 May 2022. The conference is co-sponsored by the Washington Statistical Society (WSS), the Survey Research Methods Section (SRMS) of the American Statistical Association (ASA), the International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS), and the International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS). This international conference will serve as a bridge among statisticians, survey methodologists, engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and others interested in combining information from multiple sources in developing reliable small-scale model estimates.  In addition to traditional topics in SAE, the conference will cover a few emerging topics in survey and official statistics (e.g., nonprobability sampling), probabilistic record linkage, and data fusion.  Domestic participants are expected to attend the conference in person and follow the University of Maryland, College Park Covid-19 guidelines (see umd.edu/4Maryland). Early-bird registration and abstract submission for both domestic and international participants is now open and has been extended to April 10, 2022.  The final registration deadline is 5 May 2022. Please visit https://www.sae2022.org/ to register, submit abstracts, and learn more. Email us at sae2022@umd.edu, if you have any questions.
