The Statistical Consulting Section's Nominating Committee this year is myself, Isabella Ghement, Shari Messinger, and Ray Hoffman.
We are making nominations for the spring 2015 elections, which means the winners would take office in 2016. The available offices are:
2016 Section Chair-Elect (2017 section chair)
At-large Executive Committee member to replace Chris Holloman (his term ends 2015)
Section representative to the Council of Sections to replace Stuart Gansky, (ditto)
Secretary/Treasurer to replace Ann Lazar ( her term ends 2015.)
Section members who have suggestions for us are urged to contact me (
marlene.egger@hsc.utah.edu), or another nominating committee member, as soon as possible, and certainly by August 31. It is ok to volunteer your interest, as it is the committee who actually makes the nominations, after careful consideration of our member base. Just a reminder that Section officers should be paid-up Section members.
