A New Hampshire digital health company is seeking a consulting biostatistician for an NIH SBIR Phase I project in ophthalmology, pending award.
The study is a single-site, observational, single-encounter data collection at an ophthalmology practice in coastal New Hampshire, enrolling approximately 150 adults. The primary analysis is an agreement assessment between two independently obtained sets of measures on the same patient at the same visit: a structured set of patient-reported and patient-captured measures, and the clinician's independent structured examination findings. Outcomes include binary, ordinal, and continuous measures. A secondary aim assesses clinician workflow using validated usability instruments.
The role covers the statistical analysis plan and leads the agreement analysis across the 12-month project period. This is a paid consultancy (pending award) with budgeted effort. Remote work is fine.
Timing: Trying to identify someone ASAP and ahead of a September 8 submission.
