Now that
registration is open for JSM 2011 in Miami, I have been browsing the program. As part of my JSM activities, I usually attend a short course or continuing education workshop.
One course this year that might be of interest to members in the Section for Statistical Programmers and Analysts is a
workshop on Data Simulation that I am teaching on Wednesday afternoon, 3 August 2011, at 3:00 pm. The course is intended for practicing statisticians who use SAS software. It is chock-full of programming tips and techniques for the statistical programmer.
If you do any kind of simulation—or want to!—then you might want to sign up for this course.
