The Section on Statistics in Epidemiology (SIE) Section of the ASA invites applications from young investigators.The awards are open to all current graduate students in statistics, biostatistics and epidemiology and also recent graduates who received their degrees no earlier than December 31, 2014. The top paper will be awarded the Norman Breslow Prize with a $1000 stipend. Additional awards consisting of $800 to help defray travel costs to the JSM will also be awarded. Papers should be submitted in .pdf format with 12 point type, double-spaced and one inch margins. In order to apply for the award, submit the paper no later than November 15, 2016. Include a cover letter stating where you are a current student or your year of graduation if you are a recent graduate.
