STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY AFRICAN SOCIETY
We warmly welcome you to attend the First Congress of the Statistics and Probability African Society. This conference will take place between the 6th and the 11th of June 2011 in Dakar and Saint-Louis, Senegal.
The Statistics and Probability African Society was established in May 2008 as the first statistical society to represent the whole of Africa and to develop statistical expertise throughout this continent. Key aims of the society are to work with collaborative partners both locally and internationally with regard to the Millennium Development Goals and to advance the quality of Masters and PhD programs throughout our local universities. SPAS2011 will be the First Congress of this important society.
