    The 2013-2014 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Health Policy Fellows have been named: http://iom.edu/Global/News%20Announcements/2013-RWJF-Policy-Fellows.aspx The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellows program provides the nation’s most comprehensive fellowship experience at the nexus of health science, policy and politics in Washington, D.C. It is an outstanding opportunity for exceptional midcareer health professionals and behavioral and social scientists with an interest in health and health care policy. Fellows participate in the policy process at the federal level and use that leadership experience to improve health, health care and health policy. The RWJF will hold a recruitment webinar for 2014-2015 applications on Friday, September 13 at 2:00pm EDT. More Background: The RWJF Health Policy Fellows is a national program of the foundation with direction and technical assistance provided by IOM. Established in 1973 at the IOM with a grant from RWJF, the fellowship program develops the abilities of outstanding midcareer health professionals in academic and community-based settings by providing them with an understanding of the health policy process. More than 250 fellows from universities, colleges, and other health-related organizations across the nation have participated in this program.
