Description:The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Psychiatry and the Research Foundation of Mental Health seeks a Biostatiscian.

The position will include planning and performing statistical analyses as well as assisting in grant preparation under supervision of Division of Biostatistics faculty on various projects within the Department of Psychiatry.

Duties:Specific duties will include the statistical analysis of survey, clinical, biological and genetic data, including preparing tables with results and drafting reports.

Qualifications:
 
MS in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field required.

Solid academic training in biostatistics required. Strong analytic skills and working knowledge of statistical programming in SAS is required.

The qualified candidate must be familiar with advanced statistical modeling techniques such as survival analysis, multilevel and longitudinal models. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Prior experience in statistical consulting and analyzing psychiatric data is preferred.
