ENVR Workshop/Graybill Conference: Registration is Open

Registration for the Graybill/ENVR Conference, "Modern Statistical Methods in Ecology," scheduled for Sept 7-10. 2014 in Fort Collins, is open. Please visit www.stat.colostate.edu/graybillconference for more information and to register. There is a student poster competition and travel award money available.

JSM 2015: First Call for Invited Session Proposals

ENVR is soliciting proposals and suggestions for proposals for invited sessions for JSM 2015. Formats vary for invited sessions, but all are 110 minutes in length and have a session chair. The sessions typically include 2-6 participants, including the chair, with the more popular formats being 3-4 speakers with a discussant or a panel discussion of 3-5 panelists. Please keep in mind that the selection of invited session proposals is a competitive process due a limited amount of allocated slots for the sections. If you have an idea for an invited session, or would like to organize one please contact Ed Boone for more details at elboone@vcu.edu.

Call for ENVR-sponsored sessions at ENAR 2015

If you have an idea for an ENVR-sponsored invited session for ENAR 2015, please contact Ed Boone, ENVR Program Chair, via email (elboone@vcu.edu).The deadline to submit proposals is June 15, 2014.

An invited session could have either 4 speakers or 3 speakers and a discussant. A fully developed proposal should include the following information:

1. Session title
2. Brief (1-2 paragraphs) motivation for the session
3. Organizer name and affiliation (email, address, and phone number)
4. Session chair name and affiliation (email, address, and phone number)
5. Speakers name and affiliation (email, address, and phone number)
6. Title of the talks in preferred order of presentation
