Welcome to the Community

Welcome to the newest benefit of membership, the ASA Community. We know our members are our foundation, and we hope the new ASA Community will further foster member engagement and interaction within the ASA. The ASA Community provides an online setting for like-minded statisticians to connect with peers through tools that make it easy to communicate, collaborate, and share.

    Start a Discussion

ASAGroups replace section, chapter, and other special-interest listservs, allowing groups to exchange information in real time based on individual communication preferences.

Groups focused on a common interest will be able to form for discussion, too. For example, are you attending an ASA meeting and want to start discussions before and continue them after the meeting? Are you a master’s-level statistician who wants to discuss issues relevant to you? Are you a student in a large statistics department? Start an ASAGroup of your own.

    Search Resources

    • Collaborate to create and build industry definitions, supporting the ASA’s knowledge base.
    • Post and retrieve documents at your leisure while expanding the ASA knowledge base.
    • Rate and tag valuable content to help community members locate information
    • Rate definitions and add comments to build definitions and terms so they can be used by other members.

    Sincerely,
    Ron Wasserstein
